SWE is convinced that youth participation in local water management and political debates on water contribute to the change in mentality and practices required for responsible and shared water management.
Through European Youth Parliaments for Water, through field works, conferences and water events, SWE enables the young to be active, to express themselves ans share their solutions for water preservation.
The results of these initiatives are :
- Increasing of interest and understanding of water issues
- New local projects supported by SWE
- More visibility for the organisations involved
- Exchanges between young people and elected representatives.
The youth programme of Solidarity Water Europe is supported by the Water Agency Artois-Picardie.
